What's the difference between the Starter, Fish More, & Fully Loaded Kits?

The Aquacat Turbo X Starter Kit is the basic package that includes the Aquacat Turbo X, a 2.4ghz remote controller, a bi-colored navigational buoy for daytime use, a long-range boat antenna, and a lightweight boat stand.

The Fish More Kit includes everything in the Starter Kit, plus a super bright bi-colored waterproof LED navigational buoy for day and night fishing, and an easy-to-use autopilot with Return to Launch & Saved Waypoint Sailing. This kit is designed for those who want to take their fishing experience to the next level with advanced features like autopilot and night fishing capabilities.

The Fully Loaded Kit is the ultimate package for the serious angler. It includes everything in the Fish More Kit, plus a padded Aquacat carry bag for convenient transportation and storage, and a state-of-the-art TF 500 wireless Fishfinder with a colored display. This kit is designed for those who want the complete Aquacat experience with all the bells and whistles.

Does the Starter kit support Bluetooth and telemetry?

The Starter Kit doesn't come with Bluetooth and telemetry support. However, these features are available as add-ons for the Fish More Kit and the Fully Loaded Kit. So, if you're looking for these features, you might want to consider upgrading your kit.

Can the Starter Kit be upgraded later with Autopilot?

Unfortunately, the Autopilot can't be added on later. We calibrate the Autopilot to work with your Aquacat while it's being built. If Autopilot is a must for you, then either our Fish More Kit or the Fully Loaded Kit are the right options for you. Both of these kits come with the Autopilot feature included. Built into the Autopilot are the Return to Launch (RTL) and Saved Waypoint Sailing features. The RTL function can be activated manually and will automatically kick in if radio signal is lost for more than 20 seconds. Definitely a great safety feature to have.

Are batteries included with the kit?

Due to IATA restrictions, batteries are not included in the kit. You'll need to purchase a 22.8 Volt 16 Ah Lipo pack separately. This will give you the best performance and run time for your Aquacat.

What batteries should I use for my Aquacat?

We recommend using a 22.8 Volt 22000mAh or 25000mAh Lipo pack with XT90 connector. This will provide you with optimal performance and run time for your Aquacat.
